Double lung transplant recipient, Gift of Life volunteer
Pamela is an incredible spirit!
She works diligently to promote donation in her community, including Buddy Day, LIFEWalk and coworkers at DTE Energy. But that's not all...she has an amazing set of lungs that enable her to sing out loud! Pam has shared her beautiful voice with us during the annual Bettt Buckley Donor Family Ceremony to honor donors and their gift of life.
She sang Bette Midler's Wind Beneath My Wingsto honor her donor and hero, a 12 year old boy. She was also featured in the January 2005 edition of Essence magazine, a national publication. It is compassionate people like Pam that share their talents for the benefit of others.
