Gift of Life relies heavily on its partners in the corporate and professional world, in education, in the community and elsewhere to help spread the message that donation saves lives. Through donor drives, marketing campaigns and grass-roots participation, our partners motivate residents to add their names to the Michigan Organ Donor Registry, helping to grow the confidential database of potential future heroes.

How Your Company or Organization Can Save Lives

Companies and organizations have a unique opportunity to support donation through the Workplace Partnership for Life. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services created the three-phase program so companies of every size can participate. Sign up at organdonor.gov.

Workplace partners in Michigan are able to use national materials from HHS and also are encouraged to contact Gift of Life to obtain Michigan Organ Donor Registry sign up materials and other marketing tools. In addition, organ and tissue recipients - and others involved in donation and transplantation - are available to talk to and inspire your employees.

Michigan offers all three phases of the national program. Our partners are encouraged to choose any or all activities from the lists. Some may fit your company better than others. To review the three phases, click here.
