The center of the quilt piece is the picture of our mother, the donor, Barb Peacock. Surrounding the picture are bright and bold colors. Barb was a creative, bright, bold, and beautiful person. She was a quilter and a crafty person. She loved to use her hands to help people, but most of all her heart. She gave to all who knew her. It might have been a kind word to a co-worker, gifts for her children, grandchildren and family, or helping a stranger! She was bold. She was a person who was not afraid to stand up for what she believed in. This quilt piece shows every bit of Barb and her personality - her bright and beautiful character!
