Financial Contributions
The Gift of Life Foundation provides financial help for transplant recipients in need, allocates research grants and helps fund programs that promote organ and tissue donation. In 2009, the foundation bought new laptop computers to help volunteers register new donors. The group also paid for, among other things, a new flag pole at Henry Ford Hospital so it could fly a Donate Life flag on its Detroit campus.
The foundation is separate from Gift of Life Michigan, and gifts to it are tax deductable. To make a contribution, print and complete the attached form with a check payable to Gift of Life Foundation.

Gift of Life Foundation paid for posters, doormats and counter-top promotional cards for inside Secretary of State branch offices statewide. The materials were part of the Tell Us Now campaign, aimed at motivating Michigan residents to sign up to be donors inside branch offices.
